STRIBOG XL

STRIBOG XL is a modular filtration system designed for air extraction and purification in laser cutting, welding, engraving, and cleaning applications. It captures dust, fumes, aerosols, odors, and selected gaseous contaminants directly at the source, helping to prevent their spread throughout the workspace and reducing exposure for operators as well as nearby equipment and technologies.

STRIBOG filtration systems are industrial air filtration solutions developed by NARRAN s.r.o. for the extraction of fumes, dust, and gaseous contaminants generated during laser cleaning, engraving, cutting, and welding operations.


The system is available in two configurations. Motorized version is equipped with an integrated fan and designed to operate as a standalone extraction unit without requiring a central extraction system. Non-motorized version is intended for connection to an external fan or the customer’s existing ventilation system.

The STRIBOG system features a modular design, allowing the number and type of filtration stages to be tailored to the specific application and processed material.

Airflow up to 2,100 m³/h The integrated fan provides a maximum airflow rate of up to 2,100 m³/h, while the actual value depends on duct pressure losses and filter loading.
4 filtration stages for particles, fumes, odors, and selected gaseous substances The combination of two G4 pre-filters, an F9 fine filter, and an activated carbon layer ensures the gradual capture of both particulate and gaseous components of process emissions.
Up to 96% filtration efficiency for particles as small as 0.8 µm The filtration system achieves a declared efficiency of up to 96% when capturing particles measuring 0.8 µm.
8.4 m² active filter area Three filter cartridges with a total active filter area of 8.4 m² provide sufficient capacity for particle capture and help reduce the rate of system clogging.
Laser integration Start/stop signals for automatic connection to the laser system control unit.
Intelligent monitoring An optional differential pressure sensor with a red indicator light alerts users to excessive negative pressure within the filtration system, typically caused by clogged filters.
Mobility and easy maintenance Lockable casters for easy relocation. Filter replacement without the need for special tools.

STRIBOG XL With Integrated Fan


The motorized version is a standalone filtration unit with an integrated fan. It does not require an external extraction system – simply connect the hose, plug in the 230 V power supply, and start filtration using the main switch.

STRIBOG XL Without Integrated Fan

The non-motorized version is a filtration unit without its own fan. Airflow is provided by the customer’s external extraction system, such as a central ventilation system or a standalone fan.

This version is suitable if:

  • You already have an external extraction or ventilation system.
  • The operation requires lower noise levels without a motor in the filtration unit.
  • Multiple filtration units need to be connected to a single central extraction system.

How STRIBOG Filtration Works

Contaminated air is extracted directly from the source, directed into the STRIBOG unit, and progressively purified through a multi-stage filtration system.

  1. Collection of contaminated air: Fumes and particles are captured by the extraction unit directly at the source.
  2. Transport to the filtration unit: Contaminated air is conveyed through ductwork or a flexible hose into the STRIBOG unit.
  3. Multi-stage filtration: G4 pre-filters capture coarse particles, the F9 filter removes fine particles, and activated carbon adsorbs gaseous contaminants and odors.
  4. Clean air outlet: The purified air can be recirculated into the workspace or discharged outdoors.

Activated carbon captures gaseous contaminants and odors; depending on the application, BAC granules can also be added for chemical adsorption.

Connection to Extraction Systems
