Why Switch from Synrad to Luxinar

Luxinar SR-Series as a Fully Compatible Replacement

The Luxinar SR-series is a fully compatible replacement for Synrad F200/F400 tubes used in Multicam machines. It brings noticeable technical advantages that affect cutting quality, production speed, and overall operating costs.

1. Higher Beam Quality

The Luxinar laser has a cleaner mode and a more stable output. The result:
• faster cutting at the same power
• more precise details
• lower energy consumption

2. Half the Number of Power Supplies

The Synrad F400 uses six power supplies. Luxinar needs only three. Fewer components mean:
• lower risk of failure
• easier maintenance
• reduced operating costs

3. Active Monitoring of Cooling Water Flow

While Synrad only monitors tube temperature, Luxinar monitors the actual water flow. This protects the laser from overheating and significantly extends its lifetime. In the customer’s case, insufficient cooling led to premature degradation of the original tube.

4. Separate Laser Tube and RF Source

Luxinar uses a standalone laser tube and a standalone RF module. For servicing, this means that in case of failure, you don’t need to replace the entire block as with Synrad. This saves both time and money.

5. Prepared for Transition to SEI Lasers

If the customer plans to upgrade the machine to SEI technology, using a Luxinar tube can reduce the overall cost of the machine while maintaining high cutting quality.

Installation in Multicam Without Modifying the Machine Structure

The Luxinar tube was integrated into the original Synrad F400 position. Mechanical and electrical installation went smoothly, with no destructive modifications required.

After calibrating the optical path, we performed test cuts. The results:
• higher cutting speed
• lower energy consumption
• smoother cut edges
• more stable tube performance under prolonged load
