Fiber laser with integrated cutting and hardening for ESON CZ

ESON CZ s.r.o., located near Prague and specializing in FLEXIBLE DIES, uses a fiber laser system supplied by NARRAN that enables the combination of laser cutting and hardening in a single technological process.

The goal of the project was to design a laser workstation that enables fast and precise cutting of stainless steel sheets and their subsequent hardening without the need to handle the part between operations, with a strong emphasis on production accuracy and repeatability.

Laser cutting and hardening in one process

NARRAN supplied the Mercury fiber laser system from SEI in a configuration that combines both technologies on a single machine. This solution helps shorten the production process, minimize errors caused by part handling, and achieve high cutting accuracy.

The laser system is equipped with a camera system for recognizing trim marks and automatic job loading via QR codes, enabling precise part positioning and a high level of automation in the production process.
