Valeo is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility established in 2001 and belongs to the Thermal Systems product division, which focuses on technologies that contribute to greater comfort in the driving cab. It is a manufacturer of evaporators for installation in the air conditioning of cars and trucks.
The Narran ROD 100 laser system was applied to an automated line to degrease the surface of the part, resulting in improved surface adhesion for bonding. The laser assembly was optimized for the line process itself and with the time requirement to avoid slowing down production.
